Mike Strait is the Managed Services Team Lead at Link Computer with more than 20 years of experience in the IT services industry. Mike has worked with hundreds of government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses in just about every industry.
Outside of managed services, Mike is the proud dad to two daughters. He is an avid mountain biker and snowboarder. Mike was a founding member of the Blue Knob Mountain Bike Association and a leader on the Horseshoe Curve Trail System project.
Mike gives back to the community as a volunteer member of the Discovery Team at Altoona Launch Box supported by the Hite Family where he helps to counsel entrepreneurs starting up and expanding there businesses.

Graduate of Penn State University with Bachelors Degree’s in Business and Liberal Arts. I’ve been in sales and IT my whole career and have been with Link Computer Corp. for 8yrs. I enjoy working with people/businesses to help them navigate through the ever changing world of IT and making sure their network/data is protected and functioning as it should.
Married to my lovely wife Denise for 27 yrs. We have two boys, Nick and Jason ages 23 and 20. Nick is a Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineer for Patterson UTI and Jason is a sophomore at Slippery Rock University in the Computer Science major. Jason aspires to be a Pa. Trooper working in the cyber security/forensic sciences division for the State Police.
I enjoy the outdoors with my family on our 44 acre remote and totally off grid cabin/property. We enjoy hunting, ATV’s, snowmobiling and competition rifle shooting as well as skeet shooting. My wife Denise and I are also past Pennsylvania archery champions and still compete but not at that level. I try to be on the range at competitive shoots at least 2-3 times a week during the season. We have two Boxer’s Roman and Sadee who basically have filled the empty nest syndrome for my wife and I. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and serve on the board for our local AMBUCS chapter. I volunteer as a lector and Eucharistic Minister at our church.
